Gabby Johnson-Cameron

Gabby, a passionate and purpose-driven professional, was born in sunny Florida but raised across the Southeastern U.S., spending her formative years in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. A proud and loyal Florida Gator fan, Gabby brings over a decade of experience building and managing impactful programs. Her work in higher education is marked by a deep commitment to student development, leadership, and fostering inclusivity. With an innate ability to lead with empathy and strategy, she has built a reputation as a dynamic, collaborative program builder and leader.

Gabby earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Thomas University and her Master’s Degree from The University of Georgia. She hopes you won’t hold that last one against her—she’s a die-hard Gator fan who proudly wore her UF gear while teaching History at UGA, just to keep her college allegiance crystal clear.

Outside of her professional life, Gabby is grounded by her love of family. She cherishes quality time with her family, often spending evenings engaged in spirited card and board games or laughing over coffee. A true enthusiast of the little joys in life, she finds relaxation through true crime podcasts, sipping her favorite coffee, playing with her beloved fur babies, and traveling to historical places.
