Shane Griffis

Shane Griffis is the founder and owner of Shane Griffis Insurance Agency, serving individuals, families, and businesses throughout Florida. With more than 30 years of insurance and business leadership experience, Shane is committed to educating clients and helping them find the right coverage to protect what matters most.

A fifth-generation Floridian, Shane grew up in Hardee County and is proud of his small-town roots. He graduated from the University of Florida with degrees in Marketing and Finance and later earned his MBA. Shane began his insurance career in the early 1990s and qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table during each of his first three years in the industry. He went on to own and operate several insurance agencies in Central Florida before selling them in 1996.

Shane later spent 21 years with Nation Safe Drivers as National Sales Manager, helping the company achieve substantial growth. In 2021, he returned to agency ownership and opened his Port St. Lucie office. The agency became independent in 2023, allowing Shane and his team to offer clients access to a wider selection of insurance carriers and coverage options.

Shane later purchased A+ Insurance and Travel, expanding the agency to a second location serving Bradenton, Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch, and the surrounding Suncoast community. Today, the agency proudly serves clients from both Florida’s Treasure Coast and Gulf Coast.

Outside the office, Shane enjoys traveling, supporting local businesses, attending Florida Gators football games and country concerts, reading, and spending time with his family and Goldendoodles, Orzo and Louie.
